Dressing
YIKES! I'm starting to wonder, does this run through in the blood of EVERY girl? I'm not the sort who likes to shop for clothes and such. Am never the sort who likes to shop but for the past three days, I had gotten meself clothes and lets just say they are feminine.
You know, I think it is really addictive to shop, once you start; you buy and see something nice and then you buy again...well, if the clothes look nice on you (that is). The question is, can it be controlled? Hmm...considering me, I say that it is as I believe that you got to have a budget and that money doesn't come by easy, yes?
The thing about me, I LOVE to wear what the guys wear...No no..am not a guy want-to-be. It is just so comfortable wearing simple like t-shirt and berms with sandals. Well, I'm a girl so I got to dress like one, isn't that right? I know people do say that 'Wear what you like and be comfortable in it AND do not care what others think of you'. Hmm...how far can this statement be stretched?
Well, I didn't bother about what people think and I have been wearing the same old boring thing which is t-shirt, berms with sandals. I had been wearing like that since I was..say 12 to now? I think people around are stereotypical as they believe that girls should dress femininely and not something like this. At a younger age it is fine but in mid-teens there should be more feminine shown. At times, I do see nice pretty clothings but I see myself as negative. I just think that I won't look good in it (carry out the clothing/not fit for it).
When is it to change? Sad to say, when I look at magazines, people around you and that include friends. You tend to notice how they dress and all the girls dress prettily and even those at tender age are dressing nice! Truthfully, there is a feeling of being the odd one out and wanting to be like them, pretty and attractive. I'm not saying be exactly like them(behaving bitchy and such, NO), am not saying to be in a trend..it isn't a trend. What I am trying to state is, maybe I can dress feminine but something that I think is nice, looking great and be comfortable in it.
BUT there is this craving still, in me...whenever I see t-shirts in Nautica WOW...I really like them a lot coz their design is so simple and nice. Too bad, I have yet to own a t-shirt from there but I got to change the way I dress. Hahaha, I don't know but I do wish to have a boyfriend whom I can spoil and buy him all this nice t-shirts since I can't wear them, why not dress him in those!
Do think about this...'don't bother about what others think of you', it can't be stretched I would say coz there is a point where you be bothered by it. Bothered by how they see as in impression on you and I do have to say, girls dress nice coz of the guys (so guys...sorry but you have got to be partially blamed) and competing with other girls (this is totally ridiculous but true for some girls).
So, am I going to change totally? Nope, I'll still wear my t-shirt and berms with sandals as and when I like. I'll dress femininely whenever I like and depending on the occasion. Hmm...and I'll probably include it also depends on who I am with.
This is just something for you to think about, whether how true and not true that I had stated all above. They're all in my own opinion, so no harm and biasness has been shown here (I hope).
Take care!
Veel plezier.
