My Swiss Friend.
Well...my Swiss friend, Dominik is on a 6 months world tour so on Monday, 9th January 2006 he reached Singapore from KL via bus.
He didn't ask to meet me and I didn't bother at first but on Tuesday evening, I thought about it and decided to take the challenge and opportunity. I asked to meet him...and he was cool about it :D I mean, I should meet him...a friend from a far is finally in my country thus I should seize that opportunity.
Anyway, on Wednesday we planned where to meet and such though we knew we were going to meet at Plaza Singapura. (MRT @ Dhoby Ghaut at 12PM on Thursday)
Well...I woke up at 10 to 11AM and showered, dressed up and such and reached PS at 10 to 12PM. We were to meet at the bus-stop outside the Atrium@Orchard. Well...I waited and waited and I was kind of worried that I would get stood up. I told myself to wait till 1PM for him and he turned up at 12:30PM :P
He explained to me why he was late and such, because of the stupid Swiss Embassy -BAH! they sent his credit card back...DAMN DAMN and wouldn't let him book a cab.
Oh well...so we went to Swensens to have lunch and the both of us had Spaghetti Aglio Olio set meal (drink+soup+meal+dessert). We talked...I liked to just listen to him talk because I don't know what to talk about hehehehehehe. It was alright for him...
Well...I am not close to him thatz why I couldn't talk about anything much with him. You know he had been my online friend for like a year plus and even though he had been on my MSN list; we hardly talk ONLY when he started his vacation then we started to talk more than we usually do. Coz his people would be zzZzzZzzz...and he is at the same time zone as me so yeah.
After lunch, we went to Best Denki because Dominik needed a new cam...his cam (and credit card) got stolen when he was in Thailand. He saw a good Samsung cam and would like to get it but he would like to compare prices at other places before he purchase it. Next we went to Chinatown because he wanted to check it out. We went there via MRT and what a day...for it to rain and rain and rain non-stop. He nearly slipped...he was wearing flip-flops hehehehehe. Well...we walked around and went to the Sri Mariamman temple...WOW it was my first time entering a Hindu temple and this oldest temple in SG. The paintings were nice...interesting and a little X-rated coz I saw *ahem* of a male God. Oh before we entered that temple, Dominik bought a new funky orange watch for just S$5. Hopefully it works long...the guy gave him an extra batt : )
After the temple, we headed back to the MRT station...we took the stairs and walked down...and down...and down...and down...wondering when would we reach to the floor. We were going deep down south hehehehe. Well...while waiting for the train, I snapped a pic of Dominik and when we boarded the train he sat down and I sat next to him and clipped him : )
Well...I don't know how he found me. I know I am a boring-dull person but he said it wasn't too bad because he had company to go to Chinatown instead of going alone. : ) I like the company too...instead of being home alone.
Wish Eric was here...I miss him a lot. It has been 10-11 days since I last talked to him (1st January/2nd January 2006). Today is our 10th month anniversary...and I doubt he remembers. Guys...they don't remember dates well, I guess. I would like to ask him that Q whether is he good at remembering dates.
Anyway, Dominik will be leaving SG on 14th January 2006 in the evening I guess. Next stop will be OZ! Have fun Dominik and take care!
As for Eric...I hope he hasn't forgotten or abandoned me. : ( I love him dearly...Would look at his picture every day...and listen to our songs. HAPPY 10 MONTHS ANNIVERSARY Eric : ) ICH LIEBE DICH!
Take care.
Veel plezier.
