A Poem Written By Eric Coburg
Sleep my love till morning comes,
and dawn kisses the dreams from your eyes,
for even though I am no longer there,
my thoughts are with you still.
In darkness and dreams we share a life-time,
though in waking we are miles away,
the world of the rational holds no sway
over the rhythms of our hearts.
I'll come to you when you close your eyes,
each night as you lay sleeping,
for your soul calls to mine,
and I am bound by my need for you.
Kisses and caresses,
the sweet velvet touches,
soft murmured promises
the language of passion.
The tears and the longing,
the hoping and waiting,
the sweet anticipation till we are together again.
Remember the one who longs for you,
remember me,
for in the darkness I wait for you,
waiting only to be filled
with your sweet dreams.
and dawn kisses the dreams from your eyes,
for even though I am no longer there,
my thoughts are with you still.
In darkness and dreams we share a life-time,
though in waking we are miles away,
the world of the rational holds no sway
over the rhythms of our hearts.
I'll come to you when you close your eyes,
each night as you lay sleeping,
for your soul calls to mine,
and I am bound by my need for you.
Kisses and caresses,
the sweet velvet touches,
soft murmured promises
the language of passion.
The tears and the longing,
the hoping and waiting,
the sweet anticipation till we are together again.
Remember the one who longs for you,
remember me,
for in the darkness I wait for you,
waiting only to be filled
with your sweet dreams.

HI CHRISTINE
I know this is rude as writing you this. I just saw you had a poem writen by Eric Coburg. I had a friend whose name was exactly the same. He has disappeared for several months so I typed his name on Google and I found that on your blog.
Can I ask is THIS 'Eric Coburg' a real poet? Or he's a man from the UK?
Please, this is very important to me. I'll leave my email so that you can tell me. Thank you very much!!
