Just for the girls but guys could join in (if they want)
Well, I'm really bored now so doing something weird but HEY you too could join in if you want to! So far, my bloggy has always been something that had happened (diary) and never to let you people have a thought so now, I'd decided to touch on...
MY IDEAL WEDDING! Now now, don't you go laughing about it like I said you could join in and think about how you would like yours to be like OR simply read what I have to say; if not SCRAM! Hehehe am kidding...I meant you could just skipped the blog.
OK, here goes...I know many of you would be thinking about it since you were really young. Thinking about WHEN and WHERE you'd like to get married and HOW old you should be marrying. Moreover how exactly it should be like...The Dream Wedding.
Marriage is one BIG thing and truly you DON'T want to forget. Making sure that this WILL be the ONLY marriage. Make sure you wed the right person OK? Like is the person patient? Understanding? Caring? Able to put you first before his/her own? Love you for who you are and never to tell you how you should be like? If a guy/girl waits for you...25% he or she is the one for you. Anyway, my point is not about this, ja?
Well well, first is...picking the right time to wed. Would it be Spring? Summer? Autumn? Winter? January; February; June; August; December et cetera...? Think carefully as you should know...the date is ALSO something important that the BOTH of you DO NOT want to forget, isn't that right?
OK, so you got that down right and now it is TIME to settle the ceremony, gowns blah blah blah...I know some of you ideally have the type of gown in mind. Some would like to be creative and design your own blah blah blah...Make sure you get the good ones and not too pricey. Question is, do you want to keep the gown? Well, some would like to keep for memory sake and erm as a heirloom? There are so many types of gown, the Medieval sort, princess type, the A type, lacey, colour blah blah blah...think carefully but I just have a little advice for those on the plump side to go for something slimmer. As in, DO NOT pick the 'pom pom' sort like the 'King and I'...her dress was puffy sort. It'll simply make you look even FATTER but if you don't wish to take this hint, by all means do all you like :D coz your wedding day is what you want to be PURRRRRRFECT (perfect). If you're planning to create your own gown but no idea how you should go about, you could check out the website for wedding gowns and check out some of the designs. Designers wedding gowns - you can check that out by typing that in your search engine and I fancy Christos Bridal gowns.
Hmm...OK, so you got your gown done and how you want your hair to be like. Down? Bunned? Blah blah blah...Do you want a lacy veil? Your shoes, should it be high or short? DO NOT PICK too HIGH, you're just going to KILL youself with that as in suffer. It is just for one happy day and you don't want it to be one painful day instead, would you? Besides...who will look at your shoes if your gown is going to be full length and blocking your shoes.
Next, flowers...would you like erm...tropical sort? Bouquet rounded sort or the simple flower with long stem? The colours and such...it all goes with your taste. OK...your car could be a poshy sort, or carriage or vintage et cetera up to you decide as long as you have $$$. You do know that DREAM WEDDINGS cost A LOT! Banquet how do you want it to be? In the hotel ballroom? Gardens? Mansion? Void deck of some building? It's all up to you on how you want it to be and your BUDGET! The food, could be buffet? Do you want waiters and waitresses? Do you want a band there? By the way, guys' suit should be a match and GIRLS could help to pick in it plus it would be nice if guys give opinion to their girls' gown. OK back to planning and do think and consider WHO you are inviting coz you know MORE mouths mean more $$$ and you want it to be one happy moment and not one CAT or DOG fight moment.
Your make-up, would you like the latest trend? Would you like it heavy - dark or light and simple? I would go for simplicity and light. Oh well, it must have seemed like I'm a bore and DO NOT forget to have photography session. Guestbook too especially when they come for the ceremony or banquet. K...now, I shall tell you about mine...If you find it a bore, you can leave now before you start sleeping in the middle of it.
Well, actually I had in plan to wed on 12th December 2012 but I don't mind any dates earlier or later, whatsoever. Not really important but hehehe I like the nummer 12, ja! I would like to have my gown to be either White or Cream and rather simple and lacey sort. I wouldn't mind having a train or not but would be nice to have a low back. I would like my husband's hand to be there and feel his touch. *Blushes* I would like him to give me his opinion on the type of gown. Anyway, pretty much...when I walk down the aisle, I don't want the same old boring wedding tune. A song which I already had in mind and that would be, 'Here, There and Everywhere' by the Beatles. Someone could play it on the piano...hopefully if I have a friend who could play that! Hehehe...hair all bunned up and PROBABLY have a huge WHITE flower at the side of my head/bun and a lacey veil over. My flowers would be simple; just white flowers and preferably daisies. They do have that sweet and simple look, don't they? Walking down...all I could imagine is him, looking at me and smiling at me When I reach to the point whereby I stand right before him and looking into his eyes, that would be a wonderful feeling. After exchanging vows, we could walk down and get into a vintage car hehehe or a nice horse carriage. Fancy, yeah...I know but it isn't really necessary :p Of course before the ceremony, there will be a guestbook near the entry whereby the guests could write whatever they want/like.
OK, I could hold my wedding ceremony in a church or in the gardens of a HUGE mansion whereby it makes it easier for EVERYONE to proceed to the banquet. Anyway, the banquet would be the buffet style and I would like it in the garden but if the weather is SUCKY, we shall hold it indoor of the mansion or some building hehehe. Well, there shall be a band and dance floor and LOTZ and LOTZ and LOTZ of balloons on the open field where the kids could play and 'drown' themselves in the balloons. No one has the fix spot to sit with who, so they're free to minger about and sit anywhere they like. There's no restriction or whatsoever, just simply enjoy yourself. Oh centrepiece of the table would be a huge cylindrical or block of white candle burning in a glass bottle. Around the glass bottle base would be decorated with dark dark red rose (the woody stem sort). Cloth of the tables would be silver/metalic dark grey sort...
That was one posh wedding idea but now we could go simple and budget sort. Invite those to your church wedding ceremony and no need to make it a HOO-HA sort and your gown could be one white simple and sweet dress. You could go naked if you want if you're really on budget. Hehehe...am kidding. Well...borrow any car (nice one) from one of your close friends to ferry about. Banquet, I would simply change into something simple but yet elegant dress (not usually how I would wear to a picnic but sheesh, it is my wedding so, ja!) and only close ones are invited to this feast. Itz a PICNIC AFFAIR! Well, this is a D.I.Y. feast, days before I would have some close friends to help me out to get a few cheap cheap baskets and make our own food before the day. Distribute the food into the baskets and each basket would contain a really cheap bottle of wine. Do let friends know that it is a picnic so they could bring their own mats. So you know, some come in couple so they have one basket and some individual will receive a smaller basket and maybe just a bottle of beer, depending on preference choice. There, simple wedding feast and private too. I like that choice though coz it is pretty simple and not a BIG group but yet the poshy type is nice. ANYWAY, it all depends on BUDGET and my happiness to be with my love one.
Weddings...it is all up to the both of you how you want it to be. If your guy isn't interested in giving much of a hand, do let those close ones to help you and doesn't mean he doesn't have to care. REMIND him that, it is for the TWO of you and that HE was the one who wanted your hand in marriage. Do not take it too rush and stress but relax and enjoy every bit of it. Oh yes, never make your wedding date too close to your planning, itz going to be rushing, trust me. I'm not sure whether you should hire a wedding planner...maybe you could compare prices and your D.I.Y. with help from friends.
Think carefully of how you want it to be. Hehehe, I'm always having a back-up plan just incase I don't get the Oh High and Classy type. Just don't rush into everything and make sure you choose the RIGHT person! That's the most important thing in LIFE!
Take care and thanz for reading this boring bloggy. Could leave comments if you would like to.
Veel plezier.
