TO THE MARKET...

Woke up this morning and feeling fine..there's something special on my mind...-'I'm Into Something Good' by Herman's Hermit. Yup, today..I went to the wet market with my parents after a long time. We went to Chinatown for breakfast and after that marketing because mom wanted to cook pork rib soup with carrots and potatoes hmmm...yummy. Plus liver with fried ginger and just vegetables all for dinner.

TO THE MARKET...one word to describe the market, WOW! Well, really interesting to walk around and see stuff. The pig's head without the skull and such being sliced into half and you get to see the nose and I saw one of the eyeballs. YIKES! It was truly an unsightly scene but hey...it's the wet market. Hmm..whatelse? Well, you know normally the pork meats are being exposed openly but now they're all in the fridge to be much hygienic. Well, got to see a tub of pigs' stomach, liver and er...kidney.

Oh..it was GREAT to see fishes wow...really fresh ones and alive but pitiful at the same time. A styrofoam box filled with catfish struggling. Small cages of turtles and frogs : ( really really sad. Hmm..walked pass one of the fish stores and this styrofoam box only had some few pieces of meat and I was thinking YUCK! erm..seemed like leftover meat which they were trying to sell with a small board on it '$4 something something (in Chinese)' and I just walked away.

Off to buy some veg, really nice..see different types of veg whereby the supermarkets don't have. Well, walked pass that fish store again and remember the styrofoam box I mentioned earlier? It was filled, you know with what? It was filled with skinned frogs : ( YUCKS! SAD! SAD! Hmm...well, they had those stores that sell dried stuff like two buckets of soaked salted veg and I saw HUGE dried fish head. From a far I saw another store that also sells dried stuff had two big dried up fish. Hmm...they had ikan bilis aka anchovy well, flies were flying around it. You should know..these dried up stuff with lots of salt in it, sure does stink a lot.

Well, we bought two types of bananas, the one that I like which is the longer one Del Monte and the other is the smaller kampong/local sort of banana. DAMN..fruitseller woman talk talk talk talk so much we had to wait for her. That B.I.T.A. lied to me mom that the smaller bananas are riped and can be eaten because she asked mom when she would like to eat it. Anyway, when we got home truly this pissed mom off. It is OK if it hasn't ripen but the banana (not the Del Monte) is Rottness Island aka Stinky Island! Well...I mean, most of them are rotten so now you know why I call her B.I.T.A. Moreover she charged us pretty high for two bunch of bananas, dad said it is much cheaper if we were to purchase them from Fairprice (cheaper supermarket apart from GIANT).

Mom likes to do her marketing at wet markets because you can get nearly everything that the supermarket doesn't have. Well, and much cheaper for certain things but there are some things that the wet market doesn't have and the supermarkets have. You do know what I mean so don't act dumb.

Oh well, thatz about it so till the next bloggy.

Trick or Treat anyone?

Well, how long has it been since I last stepped here? Hmm..this is the last day of the month, 31st October TRICK or TREAT anyone?

Truly, I have nothing interesting to write about. On the 28th of October, he has hurt me deeply. All I asked was, 'Can I hug you?' and he said, 'No' and I was hurt but I didn't cry. He then asked me whether was I angry of him and I told him that I was not but was upset. I didn't want to talk about it but he insisted on knowing why. I hinted to him that I didn't want history to repeat itself (as I know if I were to talk about it, I would be really really hurt and eventually cry) but he didn't get the hint and so I told him and ended up crying.

I asked him, 'What do you want?' and he answered, 'I just want to be friends and nothing more' and that truly hurt. He left...for he didn't want to hurt me further though that was not a good idea. It is normal of him to do that, leaving whenever something happens like this.

Well, the next day I was alright, upset a little but always the sleep did help me somehow. It made me feel like it didn't really happen or that it was just a dream, though I know it is true.

OK...enough of this. It isn't getting anywhere, he is killing my feelings for him which is working in some way, I think. Great job Joost.

Today is HALLOWEEN DAY! Yes, I consider this to be under the category of Swindle's Day.

In the darkness,
an abandon mansion
on the top of a hill
The eyes that glows,
watches every child's move

From door to door,
they collected their treats
His breath condenses
on the window pane
His black hair covered
his pale-white face

The house was so cold
that no one can
inhabit the place
Long, sharp nails scratches
down on the window pane

Counting the number
of children on the street,
he laughed to himself

The clouds slowly moved
away from the full moon
It was time!
The time to feast
on the innocence...
