Parents' Anniversary

OK, am going to make this short. Today is my parents’ 26th Wedding Anniversary, great great and er…I FINALLY GOT Mr Berendsen’s package! Been waiting and waiting and waiting. The package envelope looked horrible like the dog chewed itz opening so Singapore Post had to pack it into a plastic bag.

So what is inside? Aww…really sweet that he got me the Dom Tower candle. I like candles so smart choice. That was for my birthday and he is so nice to try to send early so it will make it before my birthday BUT stupid 20 cents, yes whereby he called them ‘Ant’. Well…hurray I got it so not so bad anyway even if it is late. Now…I opened Christmas and WOW…very creative of him to make it like a tour guide. Itz funny and I really like it. Sweet of him to ‘bring’ Utrecht to me. Blushes

Oh and I got to taste Muntdrops on the 24th December, it tasted odd wasn’t used to it but on my 3rd drop, I got used to it.

On the 23rd, I received a package and I thought it was from Mr Berendsen but it was from California. I couldn’t think who it could be from. When I opened it, I was really really touched. My brother, Senk remembered that I wanted the drawing so much and it is SO beautiful. I cried…was really nice of him. He remembered, I thought he had forgotten and the last time I spoke to him was when we sort of quarrelled and that was like months ago.

Thatz about it.

Take care.

Birthday

zzZzzZzzz...snoozing away until I heard me dogs barking like crazy. I could hear the phone ringing so I got out from bed and shuuushh them both. Answered the phone and a guy asked for Christine Yeo. Hmm..I said, 'Yes' and he just hung up the phone so I thought maybe he would return the call. I sat and waited, thinking that it could be DHL then the doorbell rang. Hahaha I knew it! It was the DHL delivery guy with my package from NDL! I signed it and finally got it. Quickly ran to me bedroom and place the package onto me bed.

OK, figuring out how to open the box and NOW then I realised that I should have opened from the bottom since it was MUCH easier. Shheeeshh...talking about brains, I'm not making use of it. Well...so excited to see the nine presents he got for me (he told me). I decided to unwrap and I was so happy to see the FLAG! Something which I had always wanted and it is finally here! Was so happy that I started to cry and then I opened another which was a Christmas bobble, handpainted with the windmill on it...it was beautiful.

Alright, on to the third one..what can it be? I already know what it is hehehe it is a tourist map and when I unwrapped it, I was RIGHT! Fourth present as I unwrapped it, the box shows sticks on it that look like chocolate sticks and I was wondering whether could it be food! Then again, it was light so I thought twice and I opened the box, it was another Christmas ornament. Same thing but not bobble, it was an odd shape with sharp pointy at the end. Beautiful.

I realised that there were seven presents only then I thought, well maybe he mistook it as nine. Fifth present was a tin can and it was pretty and also quite heavy. I thought it could be FOOD! Probably cookies! When I opened, it wasn’t but two nice handpainted stuff a bell and a Dutch Milk Lady. Yet beautiful stuff…yes, I need to get a display cabinet now. I’ll have to find one soon.

Well..that made sixth and seventh so on with the eigth one, hmm…this is squarish and beady sort and I was thinking of a small placemat which is made out of bead. When I unwrapped it, IT WAS FOOD! Muntdrops! Dutch Delicacy but I didn’t know how it taste like…

Now for the last one, itz a MARCO BORSATO CD! Wow…he got it for me, how sweet of him…Best thing of all, he made it reach here on my birthday. That was really special and really really thoughtful and nice of him.

Hmm…Dinner I went to a seafood restaurant with me parents. Other than that, all was fine on my birthday. Juho sent me an email of many pics and one special one with a present. Was really nice of him. Thanz.

Take care.

Mr Berendsen's Tricks

Just how many times has Mr Berendsen tricked me? I just lost count but I'm going to backtrack...

1. Viewing his webcam, he pretended that his nose was bleeding...
2. He tricked by telling me that he was getting a tattoo on that day
3. He tricked by telling me that he was going to get his hair dyed black on that day
4. Viewing his webcam, he stretched backwards and pretended to fall back
AND TODAY...
5. He sent me a song, telling me that the volume is soft and needed to have it up...in the beginning it was pleasant until the LOUD beat...

I'm just an easy prey, what more can I say? *Shrugs shoulders* Oh well, it is fun and funny anyway : )

Take care!

Dressing

YIKES! I'm starting to wonder, does this run through in the blood of EVERY girl? I'm not the sort who likes to shop for clothes and such. Am never the sort who likes to shop but for the past three days, I had gotten meself clothes and lets just say they are feminine.

You know, I think it is really addictive to shop, once you start; you buy and see something nice and then you buy again...well, if the clothes look nice on you (that is). The question is, can it be controlled? Hmm...considering me, I say that it is as I believe that you got to have a budget and that money doesn't come by easy, yes?

The thing about me, I LOVE to wear what the guys wear...No no..am not a guy want-to-be. It is just so comfortable wearing simple like t-shirt and berms with sandals. Well, I'm a girl so I got to dress like one, isn't that right? I know people do say that 'Wear what you like and be comfortable in it AND do not care what others think of you'. Hmm...how far can this statement be stretched?

Well, I didn't bother about what people think and I have been wearing the same old boring thing which is t-shirt, berms with sandals. I had been wearing like that since I was..say 12 to now? I think people around are stereotypical as they believe that girls should dress femininely and not something like this. At a younger age it is fine but in mid-teens there should be more feminine shown. At times, I do see nice pretty clothings but I see myself as negative. I just think that I won't look good in it (carry out the clothing/not fit for it).

When is it to change? Sad to say, when I look at magazines, people around you and that include friends. You tend to notice how they dress and all the girls dress prettily and even those at tender age are dressing nice! Truthfully, there is a feeling of being the odd one out and wanting to be like them, pretty and attractive. I'm not saying be exactly like them(behaving bitchy and such, NO), am not saying to be in a trend..it isn't a trend. What I am trying to state is, maybe I can dress feminine but something that I think is nice, looking great and be comfortable in it.

BUT there is this craving still, in me...whenever I see t-shirts in Nautica WOW...I really like them a lot coz their design is so simple and nice. Too bad, I have yet to own a t-shirt from there but I got to change the way I dress. Hahaha, I don't know but I do wish to have a boyfriend whom I can spoil and buy him all this nice t-shirts since I can't wear them, why not dress him in those!

Do think about this...'don't bother about what others think of you', it can't be stretched I would say coz there is a point where you be bothered by it. Bothered by how they see as in impression on you and I do have to say, girls dress nice coz of the guys (so guys...sorry but you have got to be partially blamed) and competing with other girls (this is totally ridiculous but true for some girls).

So, am I going to change totally? Nope, I'll still wear my t-shirt and berms with sandals as and when I like. I'll dress femininely whenever I like and depending on the occasion. Hmm...and I'll probably include it also depends on who I am with.

This is just something for you to think about, whether how true and not true that I had stated all above. They're all in my own opinion, so no harm and biasness has been shown here (I hope).

Take care!

Veel plezier.
