Chase...

Today for Principle of Cooking practical, we got to debone the square cut of the shoulder of the lamb. It was pretty fine and was glad that I didn't cut meself Other than that...all was fine but I had to chase after my classmate to return my book or how am I to study for my upcoming test? I lent my book on Monday to let him take down the notes and answers to the blanks. I wanted it back on Tuesday but he didn't want because for practical we are in different kitchen so very well, I told him to bring it on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, he didn't bring it but said he had completed copying the answers. (During IT class I was telling my classmate, Elizabeth that if he didn't bring it on the following day, I was so going to screw him as in throttle him and probably bash him) I let it pass so that was the first chance I gave him and told him that I would like to have it the next day which was Thursday (yesterday). Besides we would be in the same kitchen on that day because my teach decided to take in both classes on that day.

Thursday...he didn't bring it! Oh my goodness...fine, I wasn't really that piss so I let it go and told him to bring it the next day which was Friday (today). Well...after I had finished my class, I went over to the kitchen where he was working in and asked him whether he had brought my book. SCREW HIM! He said he was late for class and didn't bring the book...This is the third chance I'd given him. Two chances are more than enough and I know some people(Tieme) don't even give any chances to anyone at all. I was really pissed but I didn't shout at him or anything. I told him this, 'I want you to bring it down and meet me somewhere and pass it to me today.' He said, 'No...' because he lives pretty far...from Orchard Road. He said he would bring it on Monday but I think it would be too rush and he said that I could do whatever I want to him on Monday if he didn't bring it.

Look! He stays in Telok Blangah and I used to study in St Theresa's Convent (Secondary School) and it is located in Telok Blangah and it isn't far away from Orchard or even Tiong Bahru but the short guy said it is far for him. Yes, he is VERY short...about my height and look like 12 or 13 years old when he is actually 17. My other classmate, Wayne told me that I should smack his head (Wayne demonstrated on me and flicked his finger on the side of my head and I told him that isn't how I would do it. Yeah, I would smack the back of the head and I demonstrated on Wayne. I smacked Wayne's head and he said it was hard and should do that to the short guy). Alright the short guy's name is Calvin. Anyway, I'm not used to using the F word so I didn't use any bad words on him. Though I did tell Wayne something like this, 'That bastard didn't bring my book again!' Words I use are 'Bastard', 'Bitches', 'Jerks', 'Idiot' but never the F. I believe that settling problems shouldn't use any physical or shouting because it gives a rather unprofessional way of handling problems and somehow the pride is gone.

I tried to compromise with him. I actually wanted to meet him at Orchard but I gave way to him and let him choose where to meet. Wayne said, no...Calvin was the one who didn't bring the book, why should I be the one letting him to decide? I told Wayne that my main purpose was to get my book back and make it easy for Calvin. I would like to go hard on people and my mind and heart do tell me to do so but when it really comes to doing it. I go all soft and give way...hehehe Wayne said, I'm too nice

Had lunch with Wayne and Elizabeth. Calvin called and told me to meet him at Bukit Merah Bus Interchange. Pretty fine with me so I agreed and he told me not to dillydally. Agreed to meet at 2:15PM. I was going to be late and he called me again to check where I was. That time I was already onboard the train and told him to meet at 2:30PM. When I was at the interchange, it was roughly 2:35PM and I was just 5 minutes late. He called and asked whether I could meet him at McDonald's...I couldn't take it. I was not going to be too nice to let him decide everything plus I wasn't going to walk all the way there just to get my book and walk all the way back to the interchange. I mean after school, I could easily have my lunch and headed home and rest but after lunch; I went to meet him and then I ended up waiting for him at the interchange. I told him that I wasn't going to walk so he said fine and thus I waited and then he came and handed the book to me.

Seriously, I have learnt my lesson not to lend him anything anymore. Beginning I was reluctant to lend it to him because somehow I knew I won't get it back on the day I had required him to do so. Well, on second thought; maybe he may seemed that way but maybe he wasn't that kind. It seemed like I was wrong on that second thought. I don't mind lending things to people but I don't seem to get them back unless I chase these people. In the kitchen I work in, so far I was given two kitchen towels and I lent one and didn't get it back. I lent another to some other people...coz the plate was hot (I work near where the salammander was located, in fact it is just behind where I work so they needed the cloth to carry the plate, they're too lazy to walk all the way to their table to get theirs) so they used my 2nd towel and I didn't get it back. From two towels to zero!

I don't want to be selfish or anything. I don't want to be seen as some bitch who enjoys hunting people down to get my things back. I just want people to be responsible when they borrow something from someone.

Had dinner at Pete's Place which is an Italian Restaurant located in Hyatt Hotel. I had Fettucinne with veal meat and asparagus. It was EXCELLENT! Mom had sea bass but she didn't like it coz it was too salty. For dessert, we had chocolate fondue...it was FANTASTICA!

Take care!

Veel plezier.

IKEA

Yesterday, I had already planned to go to IKEA to shop for my quilt cover sets. I was only planning to get two sets. The one that is red with white flora prints (SGD 65) and the other is just simply flora (SGD 35); both are really sweet.

Actually I wanted to head out in the afternoon to shop but it started to pour heavily thus I stayed home. Moreover I was kind of tired and refused to move about much. I also had other minor chores to do before I had to have to shower and then head out for IKEA. Anyway, I finished the chores; headed for shower and then I got changed and was ready to head for IKEA!

I LOVE IKEA...I LOVE ERIC...I LOVE TO SHOP AT IKEA...I LOVE QUILT COVER SETS...I LOVE ERIC...I LOVE SOME OF THEIR QUILT COVER SETS...I LOVE ERIC...I LOVE SOME OF THEIR PRICES OF THEIR QUILT COVER SETS...I'M A QUILT COVER FANATIC!

Alright before that, I had received SMSs from me classmate, Jeremy that he wanted to meet up in town with my other classmates at 7:30PM. OK...I was planning to shop at IKEA and then meet up with him straight after IKEA.

I was slightly hungry so I went to the cafe but so crowded so in the end I went to Burger King to have Mushroom Swiss Whopper Meal and instead of coke; I had Minute Maid's Limeade. It was filling but it was alright as later I went for my QUILT COVER SET SHOPPING SPREE! I walked to the area where they were. Before that I took the velvet navy blue pillow (similar to the one that I had gotten for Mr Berendsen) but I wasn't sure whether to get that colour or khaki. In the end...my decision had been made up, I see more of the khaki so I chose the lesser one and besides when I was shopping for that pillow for Mr Berendsen, sis said the blue was much better so I got that in the end. Straight away I saw they had the olive colour for Queen size and all along I wanted it but out of stock. I only had the khaki but first I went to get the ones that I wanted...the red with white flora and the flora. I was contemplating whether to get the olive one coz my motive was to get two only but ah....what the heck so I got that then I walked around the area and WOW...I saw another nice stripey one...so cheap! SGD 32 only...oh and by the way...the olive one, I got my khaki for SGD 79 but the price got slashed to now SGD 59! Yup...I have accomplished my mission in having 12 quilt cover sets now. I bought 4 quilt cover sets yesterday plus that pillow so in totaly SGD 206! WOW...thatz freaking a lot and I have never spent that much in one shopping. I'm gonna starve now coz of how much I had spent and I need to SAVE SAVE SAVE for my future trip.

I won't let my parents know about this much I had spent...moreover I need to pack my cupboard to find space for my sets! I don't think I will stop at 12 hehehehe but hey, I think this is going to become part of my interest!

SOOOOO FREAKING HEAVY! I had to carry all the way from IKEA to the bus stop but it was a good work out...hehehehe. Hmm...so decided to rush home and put the stuffs and then meet up with Jeremy and others. He was nice lol to tell me to take my time because he was with a friend so he said 'Take your time...you can even crawl here if you want' hehehehe OK...not exactly the words he SMS. Urgh...it turned out it was him, Adeline and I...kind of boring but OK...able to make me laugh at times. Partly not their fault eh...I was also tired.

Pretty much I left after they had their dinner at Hans. Jeremy can eat a lot...fish n' chip set meal and sirlion steak set meal...WOW and this guy is thin eh...not fat. I worry for the dogs thatz why I returned home quick. Well...got home showed my quilt cover sets to sis and Shalini and then waited for Mr Berendsen but he didn't come on. I couldn't hang in there so I slept. Before I did, Martin mess and Jar too...I haven't spoken to Jar for a long time because he hadn't been on. I miss my best friend... and he had so many stuff going on and I think I have been missing out a lot. He is going somewhere and I didn't know until last night he told me! He said he'll tell me about it when he returns. : (

Eric is on now...and I'm talking to him. I'M VERY HAPPY :D (See this HUGE grin? Yeah...thatz what I'm having on me face now till the end of the conversation or day)

Shalini...I hope you're OK there and PLEASE don't stress yourself out. I enjoy talking to you so if you need a break come and talk to me coz I do feel lonely at times when I have no one to talk to (OK OK...I do talk to sis or maybe Martin but they're not on always and sis isn't ALWAYS free.) Besides, it keeps me updated on how you are. I hope you're feeling much better and not sick. Take care girly!

Take care.
